[F5] FQDN Pool Member 사용하기(Auto Populate, TTL 옵션)

사전작업으로 Lookup 할 DNS 서버 설정 필요

System ›› Configuration : Device : DNS에서 DNS 서버 등록

 

Local Traffic ›› Nodes : Node List에서 서버 등록

Node에서 먼저 설정을 해주어야 옵션을 적용 가능

 

Interval 값을 지정하면 지정된 시간마다 lookup 진행

Use TTL을 사용하면 실제로 DNS 응답의 TTL이 만료되면 갱신

 

 

Down Interval 옵션은 UseTTL 사용 시에만 동작

TTL을 수동으로 지정할 경우 동작하지 않음.

 

Auto Populate

Specifies whether the system automatically creates ephemeral nodes using the IP addresses returned by the resolution of a DNS query for a node defined by an FQDN. The default is Enabled. • Enabled: The system generates an ephemeral node for each IP address returned in response to a DNS query for the FQDN of the node. Additionally, when a DNS response indicates the IP address of an ephemeral node no longer exists, the system deletes the ephemeral node. • Disabled: The system resolves a DNS query for the FQDN of the node with the single IP address associated with the FQDN.

 

DNS lookup 결과로 오는 모든 레코드를 사용할 것이면 enabled 옵션

최상위 레코드 1개만 사용할 경우 disabled

 

비교를 위해서 navre.com 은 enabled 

 

 

daum.net 은 disabled로 테스트 진행 

 

 Naver.com과 daum.net을 poolmember로 등록.

 

Naver는 enable로 4개 중 4개 등록됨, Daum은 disable로 최상위 1개 레코드 등록됨

 

AutoPopulate 주의사항

하나의 fqdn을 disable 할 경우 연결된 4개의 member가 동시에 적용됨 개별 삭제도 불가

각 멤버 메뉴에서 수정 시도 시 permition 오류 발생
